The pair played together for two seasons at South Carolina, winning the NCAA title during Hall’s freshman year and reaching the Final Four the following season. After college, Boston became a key player for the Indiana Fever, while Hall continued to shine for the Gamecocks, helping them secure another NCAA title earlier this year by defeating Caitlin Clark and Iowa in the Finals.

Aliyah Boston also extended her support to Indiana Fever teammate Caitlin Clark on Wednesday ahead of a monumental honor in Clark’s college career. The Iowa Hawkeyes announced that Clark’s No. 22 jersey would be retired on February 2, 2025, cementing her legacy in the program’s history.
Clark’s remarkable four-year career at Iowa included leading her team to back-to-back NCAA Finals, one of which featured a showdown against Boston’s South Carolina Gamecocks.
