Longtime assistant brings success from WNBA and NCAA Division I levels
The Dallas Wings have announced Chris Koclanes as their new head coach. Koclanes, known for his defensive expertise, aims to improve the team’s performance after a challenging 2024 season.
In 2024, the Wings struggled to get stops, finishing with a league-worst defensive rating of 114.0. Koclanes will look to bring that number down significantly, targeting an improvement to 105.8.
The team will introduce Koclanes at a press conference on Jan. 9 at Reunion Tower.
