In an exclusive interview with People, Reese shared valuable advice for young girls balancing their passions for sports and entertainment. Reflecting on her role as an inspiration, the 22-year-old highlighted the importance of staying positive despite challenges.
“It gives me an expression to keep going every day. I mean, every day is not gonna be easy, but just being able to wake up knowing somebody is looking at me, looking at my social media, thinking, ‘How can I be her one day?’ That’s why I try to be as positive as I can all the time and just be there for people. I remember when I was younger, I had people to look up to, but not many pros I could actually connect with. So, I want to be that person for them,” Reese said during a Chicago Sky practice in September.
Reese’s commitment to empowering young women extends beyond her words. Following her NCAA championship win with LSU, she launched the Angel C. Reese Foundation.
