As we approach the end of the calendar year, the WNBA offseason is in full swing across the globe. For the Minnesota Lynx, this means keeping an eye on their 12 players competing overseas and in domestic leagues. While preparations for the 2025 season and free agency heat up, here’s how our Lynx players performed this past week, marked by stellar 30-point performances.

Dec. 19 vs. Besiktas (80-71 loss): 10 points (4-10 FG), 13 rebounds, one assist, one steal in 32 minutes
Dec. 22 vs. Gdynia (81-77 loss): 31 points (5-10 3Pt, 8-10 FT), nine rebounds, four assists, two steals in 39 minute.
Natisha Hiedeman — Inner Mongolia (China)
As Hiedeman prepares for free agency, she continues to shine in China’s WCBA. This week, she delivered a season-high 30-point performance, reinforcing her value as a floor general.
Career Note:
Hiedeman’s journey has taken her through Israel, Russia, and Sweden before joining Inner Mongolia.
Domestic Leagues
WNBA Players Staying in the U.S.
Four Lynx players are competing in domestic leagues this offseason:
Napheesa Collier, Kayla McBride, Courtney Williams, and Alissa Pili.
Pili, a rookie, will participate in the Athletes Unlimited league, kicking off in Nashville on February 5, 2025.
Unrivaled League Debut
A new 3-on-3 league, Unrivaled, featuring six players per team, begins its inaugural season in Miami on January 17. Former Lynx GM Clare Duwelius plays a key role as the league’s GM and EVP.
